Ted founded Ted's Tire Discounter in Guelph in 1990 with one standard: do it right.

Not "good enough", not "that'll hold for now", Right. It's the standard he set on day one, and it's the reason many of our customers have been coming to us for decades.

When Ted opened his doors, he had already seen what the alternative looked like — rushed work, unnecessary repairs, customers treated as transactions. He wanted something different. A shop where the person at the counter knows your name, where the advice you receive is honest even when it means less work for us, and where the technicians have the experience to get things right the first time.

That commitment hasn't changed in 35 years.

Our team has been with us for years. They know their trade, they take pride in their work, and they are not chasing upsell targets. When we tell you something needs attention, it does. When it doesn't, we'll tell you that too.

This is still Ted's shop — and Guelph's shop — serving this community since 1990.
